When a substance use issue develops into a serious health matter the need for professional support becomes evident. Accessing a treatment program that is flexible and customizable is essential if recovery is to be successful in the long term. At Annandale Behavioral Health we place as much emphasis on aftercare as we do the clinical care received during rehabilitation. Annandale Behavioral Health provides a unique, evidence-based program for individuals seeking sobriety, helping them to pave the way for a sustained recovery journey.
Medical Detox
Directly following detox, participants will begin the stabilization module of recovery. This involves a 10-day schedule of treatment elements that help the individual stabilize during the earliest days of recovery.
Stabilization
When seeking recovery from a substance use disorder the first phase of treatment will involve the detox process. Because each participant will have unique detox needs, the detox and withdrawal step may last anywhere from 5 to 10 days. The expert detox team provides 24-hour medical assessment and monitoring, offering treatment and support to manage withdrawal symptoms effectively.
Residential
Once detox is completed, continuing in a residential setting can be very helpful to a client to focus on their recovery and be removed from outside distractions or triggers. During this sensitive recovery time, on-going treatment and healing can provide a more solid foundation for maintaining sobriety after completing the residential phase of treatment.
Annandale Post
At Annandale Behavioral Health we place a high premium on the importance of aftercare in recovery. Too often, someone completes detox and treatment, but is left rudderless in early recovery when relapse risk is high. We consider the aftercare portion to be of utmost importance to the overall success of recovery.
